From Kreative Kayoss to community chaos (the good kind)

I started with a long-standing dream to own an art shop. That dream launched as Kreative Kayoss, and then life — and a small town — nudged me toward something bigger. Today, Kreative Kayoss is a woman-owned, veteran-owned Limited Liability Corporation operating as Doodads & Whatnots. It’s a one-woman show, and it puts people, local economic growth, the environment, and small-town spirit first.

Along the way I discovered what I love most: rescuing perfectly good goods from the waste stream and getting them back into everyday use. I source from liquidation outlets — the new stuff, the returns, the refurbished, and even the unclaimed mail — and bring it home to Bovey so neighbors can score deals without the landfill guilt.

My shelves are a joyful mash‑up. One day it’s bubble-makers and Jeep duckies; another day it’s a wall of denim and winter coats. And always, lots and lots of clothing. The hunt is half the fun, and sharing those finds with you is the other half.
